Are Nissan X-Trails reliable for long distance trips?

I'm planning a road trip across the country and I'm considering purchasing a Nissan X-Trail. I've heard mixed reviews about their reliability. Can anyone share their experience with using a Nissan X-Trail for long distance trips?

I've owned a Nissan X-Trail for 5 years now and have taken it on numerous long distance trips. I can confidently say that it is a very reliable and comfortable car for road trips. No major issues so far!

I used to have a Nissan X-Trail and it was a nightmare on long distance trips. Constant breakdowns and expensive repairs. I would not recommend it.

I've never owned a Nissan X-Trail, but I've rented one for a road trip once and it was a great experience. Good mileage, comfortable ride, and no issues at all.
