How can I improve the handling of my Nissan GT-R on a track?

I've been taking my Nissan GT-R to the track, but I'm not happy with the handling. It feels too heavy and I can't get it to grip on corners. Any tips on how to improve its track performance?

I would highly recommend upgrading your suspension with a set of coilovers specifically designed for track use. This will greatly improve the handling and reduce body roll.
