How important is it to have an electric car? Does the Nissan Leaf deliver on its promises?

I've heard a lot of hype about electric cars and I'm considering purchasing a Nissan Leaf. Is it worth the investment and do they live up to their promises of being more environmentally friendly and cost-effective? I'm interested in hearing from owners or experts with personal experience.

As a fellow Nissan Leaf owner, I highly recommend making the switch to an electric car. Not only are they better for the environment, but the cost savings on gas is significant. Plus, the convenience of charging at home cannot be beat.
