How long does it typically take to fully charge a Nissan Leaf?

I just purchased a new Nissan Leaf and I'm wondering how long it usually takes to charge the battery fully from empty? Will I need to plan ahead for longer trips or can I charge it quickly enough while on the go?

On average, it takes around 8 hours to fully charge a Nissan Leaf with the standard charging cable. If you use a fast charger, it can take as little as 30 minutes to reach an 80% charge.

I would recommend investing in a home charging station for the most convenience. It typically takes around 12 hours to fully charge a Leaf with a standard outlet, but a home charging station can cut that time in half.
