How long should I charge my Nissan Leaf for maximum efficiency?

I'm new to electric cars and I'm wondering how long I should charge my Nissan Leaf for maximum efficiency. Should I always charge it to 100% or is it better to charge it to a lower percentage? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

It is best to charge your Nissan Leaf to 100% when possible. This will ensure that you have the maximum range for your daily usage. However, for long-term battery health, it is recommended to occasionally charge your car to a lower percentage, around 80%. This will help prevent battery degradation.

I personally charge my Nissan Leaf to 100% every night and have not noticed any negative effects on battery health. As long as you are not constantly charging your car to 100% and only do it occasionally, it should not have a significant impact on battery life.

I recommend using a slow trickle charger rather than a fast charger for daily use. This will reduce the strain on the battery and help prolong its life.
