How often should I charge my Nissan Leaf for optimal battery health?

I just bought a Nissan Leaf and I'm not sure how often I should charge it. I don't want to reduce the battery's lifespan but I also don't want to run out of battery while driving. Please advise.

A

Ideally, you should charge your Nissan Leaf every night. This will ensure that your battery is always at a healthy level and you won't have to worry about running out of battery during the day.

D

You should try to avoid frequent charging as it can shorten the lifespan of your battery. Aim to charge your Nissan Leaf every other day or once every three days if possible.

It's best to listen to your car and charge it whenever needed. Some people recommend charging it to 80% only for daily use, but I have found that fully charging it every few days keeps the battery healthy.
