How reliable is the Nissan X-Trail in off-road terrain?

I'm thinking about taking my Nissan X-Trail on a trip to the mountains, but I'm not sure if it can handle rough terrain. I mainly use it for city driving, so I'm a bit worried. Has anyone taken their X-Trail off-road and can share their experience?

In my experience, the Nissan X-Trail is surprisingly capable off-road. I've taken it on some pretty rough trails and it never let me down. Just make sure to have proper tires and drive carefully.
