How to properly maintain my Nissan Patrol's engine?

I recently bought a Nissan Patrol and I want to make sure I am taking good care of my engine. What are some tips or advice on maintaining it?

Regularly change the engine oil and filter to keep it clean and prolong its life. Aim for every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first.

Make sure to always use high quality fuel. Cheap or low quality fuel can damage your engine and decrease its performance.
