Is 4x4 necessary for the Nissan Navara?

I'm looking to buy a Nissan Navara but I'm not sure if the 4x4 feature is necessary for off-roading or if the standard 2WD will suffice. Any thoughts?

As someone who has owned a Nissan Navara for several years, I can confidently say that 4x4 is definitely necessary if you plan on doing any serious off-roading. The extra traction and control is unbeatable.

While 4x4 is nice to have, it's not essential for casual off-roading. In most cases, a 2WD Navara is more than capable of handling dirt roads and light trails. Just make sure you have good tires.
