Is adding a cold air intake worth it for a Nissan 370Z?

I've been hearing a lot about cold air intakes for performance cars and was wondering if it's worth it for my Nissan 370Z. Will it actually improve performance and how much horsepower can I expect to gain? I don't want to waste money on something that won't make a difference.
