Is it worth it to modify the Nissan GT-R's engine for more power?

I've been debating whether or not to modify my Nissan GT-R's engine for more power. Some people say it's worth it, while others say it'll ruin the car's reliability. What's your advice?

In my experience, modifying the engine of a GT-R can be a slippery slope. While it may give you a boost in power, it can also put unnecessary strain on the car's components and potentially lead to costly repairs down the road. If you're looking for more power, I'd suggest exploring other options like a performance tune or upgrading the exhaust.

I've had my GT-R for over 5 years and I've never touched the engine. It's been reliable and powerful as is. Unless you're planning on taking it to a track or competing in races, I'd say leave it stock. Plus, you don't want to risk voiding your warranty or causing any potential issues with future resale value.

I've done extensive research on this topic and it really depends on your goals and budget. If you're willing to invest in quality parts and have a reputable mechanic do the work, then go for it. Just make sure you understand the potential risks and do it for the right reasons. Don't do it just for the sake of having the 'fastest' GT-R on the block.
