Is the Nissan GT-R a reliable sports car?

I'm considering buying a Nissan GT-R, but I'm worried about its reliability. I've heard mixed opinions about it. Can anyone share their personal experience with this car?

I have owned a Nissan GT-R for 5 years now and have had no major reliability issues. It has been my daily driver and I have put 50,000 miles on it without any problems.

As a mechanic, I have seen my fair share of Nissan GT-Rs come in for repairs. While they are not the most reliable sports cars out there, they are not terrible either. Just make sure to regularly maintain it and you should be fine.
