Is the Nissan Micra a reliable car for long term use?

I am considering purchasing a Nissan Micra for commuting to work but I'm concerned about its long term reliability. Can anyone share their experiences with owning a Micra for an extended period of time?

I have owned a Nissan Micra for 5 years now and it has been incredibly reliable. I have never had any major issues and it's been a great car for daily use.

I would not recommend the Nissan Micra for long term use. I have had numerous issues with mine and it has been costly to repair.
