Is turbo lag really an issue with the Nissan GT-R?

I've heard mixed things about turbo lag in the Nissan GT-R. Some say it's barely noticeable while others claim it's a major drawback. Can anyone provide some insight on their personal experience with the car's turbo lag?

In my experience, the turbo lag in the GT-R is not noticeable at all. The car has a very responsive throttle and the turbo spools up quickly. I've never had any issues with turbo lag while driving it.

I have to disagree with Sarah. I've driven the GT-R and the turbo lag is definitely there. It's not terrible, but it's definitely noticeable. If you want a car with no turbo lag, this might not be the best choice.
