Should I buy the Nissan Qashqai for my daily commute?

I am considering purchasing a new car for my daily commute, and the Nissan Qashqai has caught my eye. I've heard mixed reviews about its fuel efficiency and overall reliability. Can anyone who owns a Qashqai give me some insight on whether it would be a good choice for my needs?
