What are some good tires for a Nissan Micra?

I just bought a Nissan Micra and I'm not happy with the stock tires. They don't seem to have enough grip and I'm worried about driving in wet conditions. Can anyone recommend some good tires for this car?

I've been using Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires on my Micra and I highly recommend them. They have great grip and last a long time.

I've had good experiences with Michelin Energy Saver A/S tires on my Micra. They have good wet grip and are reasonably priced.

I've heard good things about Continental PureContact tires for the Micra. They have good grip and are also fuel-efficient.
