What is the best tire for off-roading in a Nissan Patrol?

I recently purchased a Nissan Patrol and I plan on taking it off-road. What is the best tire option for off-roading in this vehicle? I want something that can handle mud, rocky terrain, and still provide a comfortable ride on pavement.
