I recently purchased a Nissan Patrol and I plan on doing a lot of off-roading in it. However, I'm not sure what type of tires would be best suited for this type of vehicle. Should I go with all-terrain or mud-terrain tires? Which brand would you recommend and why?
ReplyFor off-roading in a Nissan Patrol, I highly recommend going with mud-terrain tires. They have a more aggressive tread pattern that can handle rough terrain and provide better traction on wet and muddy surfaces. My personal favorite brand is BF Goodrich, they are durable and perform well in different off-road conditions.
I've been off-roading in my Nissan Patrol for years and have found that all-terrain tires are the way to go. They offer a good balance between on and off-road performance, and are more suitable for everyday driving. I've had great experiences with Cooper Tires, they are reliable and perform well in different weather conditions.
It really depends on the type of off-roading you will be doing. If you plan on tackling extreme terrain, then mud-terrain tires would be the best choice. However, for lighter trails and mostly on-road use, all-terrain tires would be a better option. I personally use Falken Wildpeak tires, they have a good balance of on and off-road performance.
