What is the best year model for the Nissan X-Trail?

I am in the market for a used Nissan X-Trail and I'm wondering what year model would be the best choice in terms of reliability and features. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been driving a 2016 X-Trail for three years now and it has been very reliable. I highly recommend it.

I have heard great things about the 2019 year model. It has some new features like Apple Carplay and lane departure warning which make it a great choice.

I would suggest going for a 2017 or newer model. They have better fuel efficiency and upgraded safety features.
