I just bought a used Nissan X-Trail and I'm not sure what kind of tires I should get. The previous owner had all-season tires on, but I'm not sure if those are the best for this car. I live in an area with harsh winters, so I want to make sure my car can handle the snow and ice. What kind of tires do you recommend for the Nissan X-Trail? Thanks!
ReplyHi Amy, for harsh winters you will definitely want to invest in winter tires. They have better traction and handling in cold, snowy conditions. I would also recommend getting a separate set of rims for the winter tires to make changing them out easier and to protect your summer tires from wear and tear. Stay safe on the roads!
Hey Amy, as a fellow Nissan X-Trail owner, I can say that all-season tires are fine for most driving conditions. However, if you're worried about winter driving, you can opt for all-weather tires which provide better grip in colder temperatures and light snow. They won't be as good as dedicated winter tires, but they are a good compromise if you don't want to switch tires every season.
