What's the best year model for a used Nissan Qashqai?

I'm thinking of buying a used Nissan Qashqai, but I'm not sure which year model is the best. Any advice or recommendations?

In my experience, the 2016 model has been the most reliable. Make sure to do a thorough inspection and get a Carfax report before making a purchase.
