What should I do if my Nissan Leaf's battery won't hold a charge?

I've been having trouble with my Nissan Leaf's battery not holding a charge as well as it used to. It used to last much longer, but now it seems to only have about half the range it used to. What can I do to fix this issue and extend the battery life?

First, make sure you are not constantly charging your Nissan Leaf to 100%. This can actually shorten the battery life. Try to keep it around 80% and only charge to 100% when necessary.
