What type of tire pressure should I use for off-road driving on my Nissan Qashqai?

I recently purchased a Nissan Qashqai and plan on taking it off-road. I'm wondering what the recommended tire pressure is for off-road driving? I want to make sure I have the right equipment for any potential obstacles.

For off-road driving, it is recommended to decrease your tire pressure by about 5-7 PSI. This will improve your traction and reduce the risk of punctures and damage to your tires. However, be sure to increase the pressure back to the recommended level for regular driving once you're back on paved roads.

I've found that keeping my tire pressure at around 25-30 PSI works best for off-road driving. It strikes a good balance between maintaining stability and having enough grip on uneven terrain. Just remember to regularly check your tire pressure and adjust as needed.

I personally like to decrease my tire pressure to around 20 PSI for off-road driving. This allows for better traction on soft surfaces like sand or mud, and also reduces the risk of bouncing around on rocky terrain. Just be careful not to go too low, as it can damage your tires.
