Why does my Nissan Patrol's engine overheat?

My Nissan Patrol's engine has been overheating more frequently lately. I've been making sure to regularly check the coolant levels, but it still seems to be happening. Do you have any suggestions for what could be causing this issue and how to fix it?

Your thermostat could be malfunctioning. It's responsible for regulating the flow of coolant through the engine. If it's stuck closed, it could be causing your engine to overheat.

Another possibility is a leak in the cooling system. If there's a leak, the coolant levels can drop quickly and cause the engine to overheat. Check for any visible leaks and get them repaired.

Have you checked your radiator cap recently? If the cap is not properly sealing, it can cause the coolant to boil and lead to overheating. Try replacing the cap and see if that helps.
