Why does the Nissan Leaf make a whining noise when I accelerate?

I've noticed that my Nissan Leaf makes a high-pitched whining noise when I press down on the accelerator. Is this normal or should I be concerned? It seems to happen more when I'm driving at higher speeds.

It's completely normal for the Nissan Leaf to make a whining noise when accelerating, especially at higher speeds. This noise is usually caused by the electric motor and is a common characteristic of electric vehicles. However, if the noise becomes louder or more persistent, then it could be a sign of a potential issue and it's best to have it checked by a certified technician.

I've had the same issue with my Nissan Leaf and after taking it to the dealership, I found out that it's just a normal sound that the car makes. The electric motor can be a bit noisy at times, especially when accelerating, but it shouldn't cause any problems. Just make sure to keep up with regular maintenance to ensure the car stays in top condition.
