Is the Nissan X-Trail a good choice for off-roading adventure?

I'm planning to take my friends on an off-roading trip and I'm looking for a reliable SUV. I've heard some mixed reviews about the Nissan X-Trail, can anyone share their experience? Is it a good choice for rough terrain?

I have taken my X-Trail on some pretty tough trails and it handled them like a champ. As long as you have the right tires and take it slow, you'll be fine.

I wouldn't recommend the X-Trail for serious off-roading. It's more suited for city driving and occasional dirt roads.
