What tires should I use for my off-roading Nissan Patrol?

I recently purchased a Nissan Patrol and I plan on taking it off-roading. I'm not sure which tires would be the best for this type of terrain. Should I invest in all-terrain tires or stick with the original factory ones? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
